The programme includes an exhibition on Da Nang cuisine, a culinary space, a seminar on My Quang – a typical noddle of Da Nang and Quang Nam province, and a TikTok video-making contest on Da Nang’s signature dishes.

Accordingly, the photo exhibition displays 68 pictures, portraying cuisine spaces in Da Nang in the past and at present, and the street food culture of the city.

Meanwhile, visitors to the cuisine space can sample iconic dishes of Da Nang city, such as sesame cake, Tuy Loan rice paper, Quang noodles, and ‘banh trang cuon thit heo’ (rice paper rolled with pork and vegetables).

The two-day festival aims to advertise the cultural heritage of Da Nang city to the public, thus contributing to raising their responsibility in preserving and promoting cultural heritage values.

At the opening ceremony, nine individuals presented 27 documents and objects to the Da Nang museum’s collection.

Also on the occasion, 22 artisans and cultural practitioners were honoured for their contributions to safeguarding intangible cultural heritages in Da Nang city.
