These projects include the Tuyen Quang-Ha Giang Expressway (sections in Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang), the Dong Dang-Tra Linh Expressway, and the Huu Nghi-Chi Lang Expressway.

The meeting was attended by senior officials from Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Cao Bang, and Lang Son provinces, as well as various ministries.

The Ministry of Construction reported delays in land clearance and material shortages for several projects. The Tuyen Quang-Ha Giang Expressway (Phase 1, Tuyen Quang section) still has 5.7 km of uncleared land and lacks 0.35 million m3 of stone and 1.97 million m3 of soil, causing a 7% delay in progress.

The Ha Giang section faces a 0.29 million m3 stone shortage. Meanwhile, the Dong Dang-Tra Linh Expressway faces relocation delays for 301 households and requires the conversion of 115 hectares of forest land.

The Huu Nghi-Chi Lang Expressway has yet to complete resettlement and high-voltage power line adjustments, with a shortage of 4 million m3 of landfill space.

Deputy PM Bui Thanh Son praised local authorities for their efforts but emphasised the urgency of completing land clearance by March 2025 and reviewing project funding by April 2025.

He instructed local governments and contractors to address material shortages, ensure timely progress, and report updates regularly. The Ministry of Construction will oversee coordination efforts, ensuring all projects meet the December 31, 2025 deadline.
