The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated Ho Chi Minh City for its active coordination with ministries and central agencies in implementing the preparatory work according to the planned schedule. He requested the city to continue working closely with relevant ministries and sectors to review and finalise projects regarding content, security, protocol, logistics, and communications to ensure that the forum is held with the utmost solemnity, befitting its scale and significance, and achieves outstanding results.
He also instructed the city to maintain close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in inviting leaders from other countries, international organisations, and domestic and foreign enterprises directly related to the forum’s theme, in line with the orientation of expanding its scale, and elevating the event’s stature.
Emphasising that the forum is an excellent opportunity to promote cooperation with other countries, international organisations, and foreign enterprises, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that Ho Chi Minh City should take advantage of the event to foster international cooperation in the city’s priority areas, such as urban management, smart transportation, climate change adaptation, sea level rise mitigation, and air pollution reduction. The Deputy Prime Minister also urged continued cooperation with the World Economic Forum (WEF) in sharing experiences and best practices to elevate the forum to an international level in the coming years.
