The deputy PM and the government delegation examined local production activities, reviewed the progress of several transport projects, and inspected operations at the Public Administration Service Centre.
During a visit to DOVECO Son La, the deputy PM commended the enterprise for investing in technology, expanding raw-material areas and developing agricultural value chains. He requested the province to work closely with the company to enhance processing capacity and broaden export markets.
The delegation inspected the Chieng Sinh–Chieng Ngan Road project, valued at 130 billion VND, which is currently being disbursed on schedule.
In Chieng Coi Ward, the deputy PM acknowledged the locality’s efforts in administrative reform and digital transformation, urging continued improvements to digital infrastructure and the quality of services provided to residents and businesses.
At a working session with the government delegation, leaders of the Son La Provincial People’s Committee reported on the province’s industrial and agricultural output, public investment, import–export activities, infrastructure development, social housing projects, the implementation of national target programmes, and the operation of the two-tier local government model.
Concluding the meeting, the deputy PM praised the Son La Provincial Party Committee for its diligence and determination in delivering socio-economic development tasks. He requested the province to remain focused on achieving its growth targets for 2025, safeguarding people’s livelihoods and effectively implementing resolutions adopted by the Party Central Committee, particularly the seven newly issued key resolutions.
The deputy PM also urged Son La to address bottlenecks in infrastructure, mechanisms, and resources; leverage its advantages; and create stronger momentum for development, thereby contributing positively to the Northwest region.
Responding to the deputy PM’s guidance, Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that the province would continue to lead efforts to realise its socio-economic goals for 2025, strive for 8% growth, ensure people’s wellbeing and effectively implement the seven key resolutions of the Party Central Committee.
