Domestic gold prices remain high as global prices decline on August 7
Global gold prices on August 7 saw a slight decline, trading at 3,375.5 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars and rings continued to hold at high levels, listed at 123.8 million VND per tael and 119.3 million VND per tael, respectively.
Viet Nam’s stock market saw buoyant momentum in the trading session on February 23, with capital flowing strongly across most sectors. The oil and gas group led the rally, as a series of shares hit the daily upper limit, helping the VN-Index extend its gains for a fourth consecutive session. By the close, the VN-Index had risen by 36.05 points (+1.98%) to 1,860.14 points.
