Speaking highly of the diplomat’s working tenure in Vietnam, Hong said that the insignia is in recognition of his contributions to furthering the two countries’ friendship, solidarity and co-operation.
The ambassador expressed his honour to receive such a noble award, affirming that he will continue contributing to consolidating and developing the bilateral ties between both countries.
During his tenure, which commenced in December 2010, the diplomat has actively worked with Vietnamese ministries, agencies and localities and proposed numerous initiatives to boost collaboration between the two countries.
