The exhibition, "Dear fellow citizens of the capital", was launched by the People’s Committee of Hoan Kiem District in collaboration with the National Archives Center I.

The exhibition features a wealth of documents and images chronicling Hanoi's fight against French colonialism from the late 19th century until 1954, with many materials being unveiled to the public for the first time.

The exhibition incorporates digital technology, showcasing the dynamism of the capital city while preserving its tradition through valuable archival photos.

The exhibition is divided into three sections: "Hanoi Aflame, Sky Full of Smoke": Introducing documents and images from the early stages of the French invasion of Hanoi; "Hanoi Rises": Featuring papers and photos of revolutionary struggles in Hanoi from 1930 to 1954; and "Hanoi's Triumphant Return": Showcasing images and documents from the victorious day of Hanoi's liberation, echoing the sound of triumph.

This digital exhibition uses modern technology to bring Hanoi’s rich history to life, allowing viewers to explore the city’s dynamic spirit while preserving its historical roots through rare archival images.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Pham Tuan Long, Chairman of the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee, expressed his hope that the exhibition would provide the public with a unique experience through digital technology. He emphasized that the exhibition aims to foster a sense of patriotism and pride in Hanoi's rich history, while also contributing to the growth of the capital’s cultural industries.

The 3D exhibition offers an engaging experience, showcasing the resilience and glory of Hanoi's liberation 70 years ago.
