Propaganda paintings exhibition highlights spirit of building and protecting sovereignty of Fatherland

The Department of Grassroots Culture under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan, organised the opening ceremony of a propaganda paintings exhibition, themed “Borders and Islands of the Fatherland” at April 16 Square, Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province on September 20.

This exhibition introduced and displayed 160 of the most outstanding works by professional and non-professional artists nationwide, who participated in the propaganda painting contests organised by the Department of Grassroots Culture.

The event aimed to raise awareness of the position, role, and special importance of Vietnam's seas and islands in the cause of national construction and defence throughout the Party, people, and army.

On this occasion, the Department of Grassroots Culture awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals who had outstanding achievements in coordinating the organisation of the exhibition.

The painting exhibition is scheduled to run until the end of September 2024.
