The event was jointly held by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the Vietnam Football Federation and Tuoi Tre (Youth) Newspaper.
The tournament will go through two rounds. The qualifying round is expected from September to October 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Nghe An, and Bac Ninh provinces.
The 16 best teams in the qualifying round will qualify for the National Finals this November in Hanoi.
Within the framework of the tournament, the Organising Committee also implemented supporting activities, such as free examination and consultation on sports medicine and musculoskeletal diseases, combined with prescription drug distribution, daily lucky draws, discount booths, recycling old clothes, etc., to take care of the cultural and spiritual life of workers, attracting spectators to the stadium to watch and cheer.
On this occasion, Tuoi Tre Newspaper and the Organising Committee donated 2.1 billion VND to support workers and labourers in the northern provinces facing difficulties due to the impact of Typhoon Yagi.
