Politburo member and President Truong Tan Sang made the statement during a working session with the HPC in Hanoi on September 25.
The meeting focused on the assessment of the Politburo’s inspection team on the HPC’s implementation of the resolutions of the 11th National Party Congress and the 4th meeting of the 11th Party Central Committee on several urgent Party building issues, and of Instruction No. 3 related to promoting adherence to the moral example set by President Ho Chi Minh.
At the session, the Hanoi Party leaders agreed with the report presented by the inspection team. They also proposed some comments and adjustments in order to make the draft assessment report reflect the situation in a more objective and accurate manner.
President Truong Tan Sang hailed efforts made by the HPC during its implementation of Resolution No.4 and Instruction No.3, urging them to continue promoting its attained achievements, surmounting weaknesses and shortcomings to create a premise for better Party building work and socio-economic development.
