Under the programme, many businesses in the province have offered customers tour packages at attractive prices.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Toan said that Hoa Binh has implemented a flexible reopening to welcome back tourists since the end of the third quarter 2021.
To date, tourist sites, destinations, and relic sites throughout the province are ready to serve both domestic and international tourists, he affirmed.
In addition to supporting travel businesses to overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the provincial authorities have also assisted them to launch tourism stimulus packages and develop new tourist products and services at reasonable prices.
As a result, the local hospitality sector has gained encouraging results. In the first quarter of this year, Hoa Binh welcomed more than 900,000 visitors and gained nearly 950 billion VND in tourism revenue.
The province targets to receive 2.58 million holidaymakers in 2022, including 100,000 foreigners, with total revenue of 2.4 trillion VND.
