In Pictures: Ha Noi dazzles in welcome of 14th National Party Congress
With just one week remaining, the particularly important political event, the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, will take place in the Capital Ha Noi. These days, streets and corners across the city have been brilliantly decorated to welcome the Congress, creating an upbeat atmosphere as the country enters a new era - the era of national resurgence.
Red hues across many streets create vivid images of the Capital welcoming the 14th National Party Congress.
In recent days, the Capital Ha Noi has put on a new, radiant and dignified look, with flags, flowers, panels and posters installed in unison along numerous streets and squares, all directed toward celebrating the 14th National Party Congress.
Along major roads, flower beds, floral stands and landscaped plant groupings are arranged harmoniously, forming a fresh and vibrant urban space. Flowers will be continuously replaced to ensure the Capital remains bright and beautiful throughout the days of the 14th National Party Congress. A large emblem of the 14th Party Congress stands in front of Lenin Park Square. At the Dien Bien Phu–Doc Lap–Chu Van An intersection, decorative clusters featuring the hammer-and-sickle symbol of the Party flag alongside the National Flag are arranged in a harmonious and solemn manner.
Along the streets, systems of panels, banners, Party flags and National Flags are installed neatly and uniformly, creating a festive yet dignified atmosphere. Large panels and slogans in front of the Ha Noi People’s Committee headquarters. People from all walks of life are turning their attention toward this particularly important political event of the country. Large LED screens placed along central streets and on major commercial buildings are also broadcasting images, slogans and content welcoming the 14th National Party Congress.
The system of celebratory panels and posters arranged harmoniously with the landscape around Hoan Kiem Lake. The Capital Ha Noi shines brightly in greeting a political event of special significance. Propaganda slogans with concise wording that highlight the theme of the 14th National Party Congress are positioned at easily visible locations with heavy foot traffic. The National Convention Center, the venue of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam. A ceremonial gateway has been designed in a dignified manner at the National Convention Center.
These forms of visual communication and public mobilization not only give Ha Noi a refreshed appearance, but also convey the sentiments and expectations of the people toward the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.
Nhan Dan Newspaper, in coordination with Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company, held the launch ceremony of the Building Tet 2026 Programme under the theme “Thank you to those who safeguard happiness”. The ceremony was held on December 19 in Ha Noi.
