In Pictures: Send-off ceremony and rehearsal conducted ahead of 14th National Party Congress

The Ministry of Public Security staged a send-off ceremony and rehearsal in Hanoi on January 10, deploying around 5,000 policemen to finalise security preparations for the forthcoming 14th National Party Congress. Politburo member, standing member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat and head of the subcommittee for the organisation of the congress Tran Cam Tu attended and delivered a directive speech at the ceremony.

The 14th National Party Congress is a major political event of the Party, the State and the people. Therefore, the task of ensuring security and public order for the successful organisation of the Congress has been set at the highest level by the People’s Public Security force. This is a key task in the early months of 2026, with the objective of ensuring absolute security and safety for all activities of the 14th National Party Congress.
