In this second-leg, the hosts continued a attack game, creating many chances to score. Indonesian striker Cristian Gonzales' header in the 20th minute was saved by Filipino goalkeeper. But only three minutes before the break, it was Gonzales who opened the scoring for Indonesia with his super long range strike.
The Philippines then tried to put their pressure on the hosts' side but all of their attacking efforts were in vain.
With a 2-0 aggregate win, Indonesia will clash in the final of the tournament with Malaysia who sent defending champions Vietnam out on Saturday.
