Themed ‘Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts - Aspiration to reach further’, the festival drew the participation of nearly 1,300 martial arts masters and trainees from Binh Dinh Province and foreign countries.

The martial artists joined demonstrations and experience-exchange events at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Quy Nhon City. They also participated in a seminar to share their opinions on further developing Vietnamese martial arts.

The festival aims to promote Binh Dinh's people, culture, and tourism to the world while helping local and international martial arts delegations learn from their experiences with each other.

It also contributed to the building of a dossier to seek UNESCO’s recognition for Binh Dinh traditional martial arts as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
