This is the first time the company has organised the event, which will take place in four major cities – Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Can Tho – from July 5 to August 31 with assistance from the Ministry of Education and Training.

The event will feature short professional football training classes with former football star Nguyen Hong Son as coach.

The camp includes three major stages and the preliminary stage will take place from July 5-26 in the four cities to select the 30 best players.

The training stage will take place from August 8-14 in Ho Chi Minh City and the final stage features a trip to Japan to play a friendly match with a youth team from the Japan Football Association.

The event is part of the Toyota Mekong Football Project initiated by the Toyota Motor Asia-Pacific in 2014 in the Mekong river region.

The project includes the Toyota Mekong Clubs Championship and the Toyota Mekong Football Challenge.
