Speaking at the hand-over ceremony held at Tay Trang Border Gate in Dien Bien Province on June 30, leaders of Dien Bien and Lai Chau’s armed forces extended their thank for the timely support from the police forces of the four northern Lao provinces, describing it as a vivid illustration of the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

They stressed that people from the two countries and locals in Vietnam’s northwestern localities and Lao’s northern provinces in particular always share sincere attachment and mutual support to each other.

They pledged that the money will be used properly towards battling COVID-19, and helping to soon bring the life of people in the two Vietnamese provinces back to normal.
