Also attending were leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, leaders of Tuyen Quang Province, leaders of the People's Committee of Son Duong District and departments, branches and sectors of the province. On the occasion, the delegation visited the Tan Trao National Special Relic Site.
Both the 2-storey classroom building and the Administration-Management building of Minh Thanh Secondary School received investment from the Ministry of Public Security and started construction in May 2024. The total construction floor area covers 2,300m2 and includes 24 functional rooms. The project received a total investment of 15.3 billion VND, mobilised from sponsors by the Ministry of Public Security.
After four months of construction, the project was completed ahead of schedule, inaugurated right on the occasion of the opening of the new 2024-2025 school year, creating favourable conditions for children of ethnic groups in Minh Thanh Commune to have a better learning and training environment.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, expressed his gratitude and thanks to the authorities and people in Minh Thanh Commune for always taking care of and preserving the Central Police Department Relic Site so that this place will forever be a red address for educating the tradition for generations of People's Public Security.
He acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and coordination of units and people of Minh Thanh Commune to put the spacious project into use right on the new school year.
He congratulated the staff, teachers and students of the school on the new school year and expressed his hope that the teachers and students would overcome difficulties together to have a more successful new school year.
