The competition comprises 75 events divided into two age categories: 15–17 and 18–40 years. It promises a series of thrilling matches of high professional quality.
The tournament aims to promote regular exercise among the public and to further develop the widespread kickboxing training movement across provinces and cities nationwide.
It also provides an opportunity to assess the quality of coaching and athlete training, while identifying and selecting outstanding competitors for the national kickboxing team.
Jointly organised by the Can Tho City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Viet Nam Kickboxing Federation, the championship will run until November 17.
