Later, Quang took the oath of office, pledging absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the people and the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and to strive to fulfil the duties entrusted by the Party, the State and the people.
He described his election as a great honour and a heavy responsibility before the Party, the legislature and the people.
As head of the judicial body responsible for exercising judicial power under the Constitution, the Chief Justice affirmed his resolve to uphold his oath, abide by the Party's leadership, and strictly follow Constitutional and legal principles.
He vowed to work with the entire political system and judicial agencies to achieve the ultimate goal of safeguarding justice, human rights and citizens’ rights, protecting the socialist regime, the interests of the State, and the lawful rights and interests of organisations and individuals.
Born in 1969, Quang has previously served as Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuracy, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Da Nang city for the 2015–2020 tenure, Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee for the 2020–2025 tenure, and Standing Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate.
