He also affirmed that the wide interest in the province and throughout Viet Nam in Yoga is heartening and today’s event at Nhan Dan Newspaper carried profound significance in promoting health, flexibility, mental clarity, self-discipline and happiness for all participants.

On behalf of the leadership and Trade Union of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Tran Thi Kieu Thanh Binh, Chairwoman of the Newspaper’s Trade Union, expressed sincere gratitude to the Embassy of India in Viet Nam, yoga experts and instructors for accompanying and supporting the organisation of the meaningful programme.

June 21 marks the Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day, and it is an interesting coincidence that the same date was chosen by the United Nations as the International Day of Yoga. According to the Chairwoman of the Nhan Dan Newspaper Trade Union, journalism is a demanding profession requiring dynamism, adaptability and high work intensity. Therefore, the values brought by Yoga — the balance of body, mind and spirit — hold practical significance for every journalist.

She expressed hope that today’s programme would not only spread awareness of Yoga’s health benefits, but also foster solidarity and strengthen bonds within the collective and inspire positive energy for each individual to continue fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.

The representative of the Nhan Dan Newspaper shared: “We are delighted to witness the great development of the traditional friendship and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Viet Nam and India across multiple fields. Cultural exchange activities such as today’s event serve as bridges connecting the friendship between the peoples of the two countries, contributing to greater mutual understanding, trust and goodwill between Viet Nam and India.”
