The Vietnamese troupe captivated audiences with a performance of Chau Van, an intangible cultural heritage recognised by UNESCO. The performance resonated deeply with international friends, leaving a lasting impression of Viet Nam’s rich traditions and culture.
Speaking at the festival, Consul General Nguyen Viet Kien praised the solidarity and cultural diversity of participating communities, as well as the dedication of the organisers and performers.
He emphasised that cultural exchange activities serve as powerful bridges connecting people and communities in Artyom.
Through mutual understanding and appreciation, he noted, opportunities for cooperation in economy, trade, education and tourism could be expanded, contributing to a sustainable shared future for the region.
Initiated by Artyom Mayor Vyacheslav Kvon, the annual festival has become a cultural rendezvous for ethnic communities in the region, including Viet Nam, China, the Republic of Korea, Belarus, India and Uzbekistan, to showcase their cultural heritage in a vibrant celebration of diversity.
