The festival featured a procession, a peace praying ceremony, and an incense offering ritual, attracting more than 120 Buddhist followers and locals in Ngoc Ha Ward.

The Nui Sua Temple Festival aims to commemorate Huyen Thien Hac De, a saint who was believed to have supported the Dai Viet people in the fight against foreign invaders under the reign of King Ly Thanh Tong (1023-1072).

Located on the top of Sua Mountain, Nui Sua Temple was recognised as a historical, architectural and art site in 2015.

A fruit arrangement contest and art performances were also held within the framework of the festival.

According to the Chairman of Ba Dinh Ward People’s Committee, Ta Nam Chien, the festival aims to educate younger generations on national history and inspire their love for the country.

It also seeks to promote Nui Sua Temple as a cultural and historical site in Ba Dinh District.
