Under the theme “Vietnamese Bread–World Culinary Value — Spreading Across Five Continents”, this year’s festival is also a place of Vietnamese-French cultural exchange, taking place from April 23–26 at Le Van Tam Park, Ho Chi Minh City.
The 4th Viet Nam Bread Festival will feature 150 booths and is expected to attract more than 200,000 visitors. So far, nearly 100 booths have already been registered for the event.
In addition to exploring and engaging in festival activities, visitors to the 4th Viet Nam Bread Festival 2026 will also have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of attractive promotional programmes at sponsors’ booths.
Notably, the festival will see the participation of Miss H’Hen Nie and blogger Ngo Tran Hai An as festival ambassadors.
According to the organising committee, food safety and hygiene are top priorities. The organisers are working closely with the Department of Food Safety to fully implement all necessary procedures.
The 4th Viet Nam Banh Mi Festival will feature a range of activities, including the Pagett Award competition, seminars, trade promotion activities, and a themed discussion titled “Vietnamese Bread: From Culinary Heritage Value to Global Brand Positioning”. There will also be diverse experiential spaces, including a festival gate with mascots of the Year of the Horse and lotus blossoms, such as lotus flowers and an Eiffel Tower made of bread, and a space showcasing bread from the past and present.
In addition, during the four-day event, the Viet Nam Bread Festival 2026 will host various exciting activities such as setting a record or showcasing 50 vegetarian dishes served with bread, souvenir stalls featuring products relating to bread, special music performances, a vibrant trade space with attractive food booths serving visitors, and the gifting of start-up bread carts.
Vietnamese bread is a simple dish with a history of more than 150 years since its introduction to Viet Nam. Through the creativity and refinement of Vietnamese people, bread has now established its place on the global culinary map.
From being a familiar daily food for Vietnamese people to becoming popular among international tourists, this is clearly demonstrated through the positive response from the public to the three previous Viet Nam Bread Festivals held in Ho Chi Minh City.
