Speaking about the project, a representative of the brand stated that bread is an indispensable icon of Vietnamese cuisine, especially in Ho Chi Minh City. Bringing this well-established, 35-year-old brand to the global stage is a way to preserve and promote this unique culinary identity.

In Australia, the Huynh Hoa bread model is expected to be standardised in the Vietnamese style – from recipe and ingredients to service. Culinary experience activities and Vietnamese cultural promotion will also be intensified to introduce the country and its people through richly traditional dishes.

In the initial phase, the project will be launched in major cities such as Melbourne and Sydney.

Huynh Hoa bread is expected to be sold at around 13–15 Australian dollars (AUD) per roll (200,000–250,000 VND). The brand also plans to introduce smaller-sized options to suit local customer preferences.

Founded in 1989 by Le Kim Hoa, the Huynh Hoa bread brand has become a culinary icon in Ho Chi Minh City, famed for its richly flavoured traditional rolls made with a combination of 13 ingredients, including pate, butter, cold cuts, Vietnamese ham, herbs, and a distinctive blend of seasonings.

In recent years, the culinary sector of Ho Chi Minh City in particular, and Viet Nam in general, has undertaken numerous initiatives to promote and introduce Vietnamese cuisine to international friends.
