The programme was organised by the Practical Quintessence Organisation under the patronage of the Viet Nam Institute for Practical Arts (VIPA) in coordination with the Viet Nam Creativity and Copyright Association.
According to the organisers, VCEP Awards 2025 aims to establish a meeting space where creative practitioners can exchange ideas, learn from one another, connect, and be recognised based on four core criteria: creativity, social impact, cultural value, and influence.
This year, the VCEP Awards honoured eight individuals from a wide range of fields. In the field of music composition, the “Creative and Impressive Composer” award was presented to composer Nguyen Van Chung, who, with more than two decades of dedicated musical activity, has delivered numerous works that resonate emotionally with audiences and convey positive messages in everyday life.
Meanwhile, singer Duc Phuc was honoured in the category of “Creative and Inspirational Singer”. His meticulous approach to music production, youthful image, and journey of self-improvement to become a source of inspiration have earned him recognition as a representative figure of the new generation of artists.
In the field of tourism–culture content creation, travel vlogger Khoai Lang Thang was recognised in the category “Creative Figure and Tourism–Culture Inspiration”. His simple, heartfelt videos depicting regional lifestyles, cuisine, and culture were highly praised for promoting a friendly and culturally rich image of Viet Nam to both domestic and international audiences.
Representing the younger generation of creative talents, master of ceremonies (MC) Khanh Vy was honoured in the category of “Outstanding Young Creative Figure”. She has become a source of inspiration for her spirit of lifelong learning and her efforts to spread knowledge within the community of young people passionate about foreign languages.
Notably, in the field of cinema, the “Breakthrough Actor of the Year” award was presented to Lien Binh Phat, following a year marked by strong artistic achievements. In fashion, designer Chung Thanh Phong was honoured in the “Creative and Inspirational Designer” category, with collections reflecting the spirit of Vietnamese fashion — distinctive, modern, and internationally integrated, while retaining a strong sense of cultural identity.
In the performing arts, the category “Impressive Instrumental Performer” honoured Nguyen Tuan Manh, a pianist pursuing innovative projects that uniquely blend Western instruments with Vietnamese sounds.
Notably, the “Lifetime Achievement” award was presented to singer Phuong Thanh, recognising her nearly 30 years of enduring dedication to music and sustained influence in popular culture.
The eight honourees at the VCEP Awards reflect the diversity of Viet Nam’s creativity. This diversity forms a foundation for Vietnamese culture to enter a new phase — one in which each individual can contribute in their own way to shaping the nation’s image.
