The event will feature the participation of 500 artists from more than 30 units across the country, with more than 100 theatrical excerpts in many genres, including Tuong (classical drama), Cheo (traditional opera), Cai Luong (reformed opera), folk opera, drama and circus.
The festival aims to preserve and promote the values of theatre arts, especially traditional theatre, in the face of the strong impact of market mechanisms.
The event will also honour theatre artists of all ages, who have made great contributions to artistic creativity activities.
This will be a chance for artists to meet and exchange experiences towards creating many beautiful excerpts and plays, meeting the increasing demand of people in international integration.
