Speaking at the award ceremony held on November 23, Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee Duong Xuan Huyen hailed that the artisans are outstanding representatives of ethnic communities in Lang Son Province who have played a crucial role in maintaining and promoting cultural heritages.
He described the artisans as “living treasures” who have mastered folklore knowledge and are working to hand down cultural heritages to their communities.
He stressed that the provincial authorities always attach great attention to safeguarding and upholding the traditional cultural heritages of ethnic minorities in the province.
At the ceremony, leaders of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee presented certificates of merit to 24 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in preserving and promoting the province's cultural heritage.
