With the song “Phu Dong Thien Vuong” (Celestial Prince of Phu Dong), composed by musician Ho Hoai Anh, inspired by the poem “Tre Viet Nam” (Vietnamese Bamboo) by poet Nguyen Duy, Duc Phuc received 422 points, the highest score among the contestants participating in the Intervision 2025 final round. The second place with 337 points went to a singer from Kyrgyzstan.
Singer Dana Al-Mir from Qatar won the third place with 369 points. In turn, the top 10 also includes representatives from Colombia, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Madagascar, China and Uzbekistan.
Sharing his feelings after winning Intervision 2025, singer Duc Phuc thanked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for choosing him to represent Viet Nam at Intervision 2025, and thanked the judges and audience for their support and encouragement.
Duc Phuc said that the award was truly a huge gift, marking the 10th anniversary of Duc Phuc becoming the champion of the Voice 2015 held in Viet Nam.
Expressing his emotion when being named as the highest position of Intervision 2025, Duc Phuc highly appreciated the performance of the international contestants at the competition and said that he was lucky to always receive support and encouragement from the audience.
Sharing with a reporter from Nhan Dan Newspaper based in Russia, journalist Irina, who specialises in following the culture section of the “Events and Witnesses” newspaper (Russia), said that she really liked the performance of the Vietnamese representative and today’s result was completely worthy of the male singer’s dedication.
According to Irina, this is a very good performance, conveying the message of vitality, will and bravery of the Vietnamese people to international friends. Indeed, Duc Phuc’s performance probably touched the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people who were following every moment of the singer in their homeland and Russian audiences present in the auditorium and watching live on television.
Evaluating the victory of the young Vietnamese singer, Natalia, a volunteer at Intervision 2025, shared “Standing close to the stage, clearly feeling Duc Phuc’s performance, I found that the singer has a high, beautiful and sweet voice. He sang passionately and emotionally. The performance of the Vietnamese male singer was also excellent. He incorporated the melodies of his homeland, and the costumes exuded traditional beauty and a strong Vietnamese identity.”
Intervision 2025 has truly become a grand musical feast, leading the audience through many different emotional states: climax, romance, gentleness, relaxation. This is not only a musical playground, but also an important international forum, a special occasion to develop international cultural and humanitarian cooperation, at the same time promoting traditional artistic values, protecting cultural sovereignty and enhancing mutual understanding between nations.
