Born in 1991, the beauty stands at 173 centimetres tall with measurements of 78-63-93, and is a lecturer at the Saigon College of Arts, Culture and Tourism. She overcame 44 other contestants across the country to secure the crown, along with the title; she received a crown worth VND 2.2 billion (US$100,000) and VND200 million in cash.
She is scheduled to represent Vietnam at this year’s Miss Universe.
Previously, she was named one of the top ten Miss Vietnam’s in 2010 and named first runner-up at Miss World Sport 2014 held in Russia.
The title of first runner-up went to Ngo Tra My from Hanoi while the title of second runner-up went to Dang Thi Le Hang from Da Nang.
The organisers also awarded other titles such as Miss Photogenic, Miss Beach, Miss Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional long dress), Miss Friendly and Miss People’s Choice.
The pageant held by the Hoan Vu Sai Gon Joint Stock Company, is billed as a national cultural event, which helps promote local tourism while introducing Vietnamese history, culture and people with international friends.
