On January 24, hundreds of yellow apricot branches over 2 meters high were decorated inside the campus and along Pham Ngoc Thach Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). This is a characteristic feature of the Vietnamese Tet Festival 2024 at the Youth Cultural House, maintained for nearly 17 years. |
According to records, on the afternoon of January 24, "Ong Do" (calligrapher) Street was decorated with many beautiful miniatures, attracting people and tourists to visit. |
Some stalls sold pre-written calligraphy after completing the decoration. The booth is elaborately decorated with dragon mascot paintings, calligraphy, statues and blooming peach blossoms. |
People and tourists wear ao dai, eager to visit and take photos on Ong Do Street. |
Colourful ao dai appears on every street corner around the Ong Do Street area. |

A group of friends (living in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) said: "This year's Ong Do Street is busier than last year’s, and the decoration is more elaborate and beautiful. Coming the event, everyone feels the bustling and joyful Tet atmosphere and wishes to have a happy Year of the Dragon with their family." |
The Vietnamese Tet Festival welcoming the 2024 Lunar New Year takes place from January 24 to February 14. |
