The Gold Star Order is the most noble order of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam that is awarded to individuals who have made great and especially outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
Immediately after the Politburo's decision to award the Gold Star Order to Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President To Lam signed the decision to award the Gold Star Order to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong for his significant and particularly outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
