Politburo member Thanh responded to voters’ concerns on a number of issues on such as the slow process of many on-going projects that affect farmers’ production and daily life, the inadequate compensation for site clearance, environmental pollution and problems in agricultural land use and management.
The voters urged the NA to revise and complete various legal documents on issues that have drawn much public attention, such as the draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution, and land use, transfer and reclamation.
In addition, the voters also urged the NA to strengthen its supervision of the implementation of the laws that were enacted, amended and supplemented.
Politburo member Thanh welcomed the voters’ opinions and asked the provincial NA delegation to collect concise comments from the voters to help them perform more effectively at the upcoming NA working session.
