We commend the tournament's objectives, its spirit, and its meaningful contribution. Press Cup has created a healthy sporting platform for journalists to improve their fitness and overall well-being.”
The tournament is held to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Viet Nam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 –2025) and to look forward to the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (September 2, 1945 – 2025).

The final round of Press Cup 2025 is expected to take place from June 5 to 7 at Tu Son City Stadium (Bac Ninh Province), featuring eight outstanding teams selected from regional qualifiers across the country.
This year, the tournament will adopt the 7-a-side football rules issued by the Viet Nam Football Federation in 2023. This competitive format intensifies excitement from the group stage and demands more meticulous preparation from all participating teams.
In a special highlight, the Press Cup 2025 champion will compete in a Super Cup match against the football team of the Thai Journalists Association. The match is scheduled for 3:30 PM on June 10 at My Dinh National Stadium.
This marks the first time the tournament has expanded its scope to include exchange activities with media professionals from the Southeast Asian region. The event offers an opportunity for press agencies from both countries to engage in cultural and sporting exchanges, share professional experiences, enhance mutual understanding, and strengthen solidarity.
