The event brought together 27 exemplary individuals and four outstanding models from eight provinces and cities across the southern region, recognised for their commitment to implementing the campaign “Study and Follow President Ho Chi Minh’s Ideology, Morality, and Lifestyle.”
The programme featured moving accounts of role models who embody Uncle Ho’s teachings. Among them were a soldier devoted to safeguarding peace for the people, a teacher who cares for pupils’ daily meals and rest, a doctor dedicated to ensuring patients’ health, and a grassroots officer tirelessly serving the community.
In his address, Ngo Dong Hai, Deputy Head of the Party Commission for Communication, Education, and Mass Mobilisation, emphasised that the programme’s theme reaffirmed the Party’s determination to bring happiness to the people.
He stressed that happiness is not merely about personal enjoyment, but about creating collective wellbeing through love, solidarity, and sharing.
He noted with pleasure that Viet Nam has risen to 46th place in the 2025 World Happiness Report, attributing this achievement not only to economic growth but also to the nation’s deep humanitarian values. These values, he stressed, stem from solidarity and mutual support in a society where all efforts are directed towards human happiness.
