The event is organised annually by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to celebrate International Children's Day and provide an entertainment venue for children during the summer.
This year’s event will include two exhibitions, one on Vietnamese children and the other featuring paintings of President Ho Chi Minh’s attachment and care for children.
Notably, a display named ‘Vietnam-Cuba Solidarity’ marked the 62nd founding anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties (1960-2022). Works on display include photos of the land and people of Cuba and Vietnam, President Fidel Castro and President Ho Chi Minh.
A total of 120 paintings drawn by children from the two countries will be introduced to the public on the occasion.
Children in the programme can explore interesting science experiments and innovations or take part in activities to learn more about recycling.
They will also be entertained with assorted art performances, water puppetry shows, and folk games.
