Que Huong Choir participates in Paris International Choir Festival

The Que Huong (Homeland) Choir of the Vietnamese community in France performed at Sainte Marie-Madeleine Church in Paris on March 16, which is part of the 26th International Choir Festival of Paris.

The attending the 26th International Choir Festival of Paris is an opportunity to spread and exchange experiences of a unique art form between choir groups in France, Germany, and Turkey, and promote friendship and cultural exchange between art troupes.

Speaking with Nhan Dan Newspaper’s resident reporter in France, Nguyen Ngan Ha, who is in charge of the Que Huong Choir, said that the choir is honoured to be the only representative of the Vietnamese overseas community in France attending the 26th International Choir Festival of Paris.

In its third participation, the Que Huong Choir brought two performances to the International Choir Festival of Paris 2024, including a French song and a work by musician To Hai titled "Tieng Hat Nguoi Chien Si Bien Thuy" (The voice of a frontier soldier).

The 26th International Choir Festival of Paris 2024 has the participation of eight choirs from Germany, Türkiye, and many French localities.

The Que Huong Choir is an active and representative choir group of the Vietnamese community living, working, and studying in France, gathering dozens of members ranging in age from 20 to 72 years old.
