The brewery was built in Thanh Ha and Thanh Tuyen communes in Thanh Liem district and covers an area of 92,667 square metres.
The first phase of the brewery’s construction with an annual capacity of 50 million litres was capitalised at VND 400 billion and the capacity will be increased to 100 million litres in the second phase.
The brewery was put into operation in August 1, 2010 and contributed VND 139 billion to the State budget in 2010. It is expected to increase its contribution to between VND 270 and 300 billion in 2011.
The Sai Gon-Phu Ly Brewery was presented with the Labour Order, third class, for its successful business operations and contributions to social activities.
More than VND 300 million was raised on the occasion for the fund to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty in Ha Nam province.
