Presenting the decisions and speaking at the ceremony, State President Luong Cuong congratulated the two newly appointed judges and affirmed that this is a recognition and high appreciation from the Party, the State, the people, and the judicial sector; at the same time, it is a great honour, as well as an extremely great responsibility for the two people.
The State President affirmed that both appointees are cadres who have received basic, systematic training, possess high professional qualifications, have risen through the ranks from the grassroots, and have extensive practical experience in the field of justice.
To successfully fulfil their duties in their new positions, the State President requested that the two appointees strictly adhere to the leadership of the Party, correctly implement the principles and regulations of the Constitution and laws, and together with the leadership of the Supreme People's Court and the leadership of the court system, achieve the highest goal: protecting justice, protecting human rights, citizens' rights, protecting the socialist regime, protecting the interests of the State, and the legitimate rights and interests of organisations and individuals; successfully achieving the goal of "building a professional, modern, equal, strict, honest, and dedicated judicial system that serves the Fatherland and the people."
The State President noted that the two appointeesshould continuously study, cultivate, practise, and refine their revolutionary moral qualities, maintain a clean and healthy lifestyle, be responsible, dedicated, and exemplary, and improve their work capacity. Together with the Party Committee and leadership of the Supreme People's Court and the Council of Judges of the Supreme People's Court, they should uphold and promote the achievements and glorious traditions of the people's court sector over the past 80 years.
Along with that, they should carry out continuous innovation in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies on judicial reform, on building a socialist rule of law state, perfecting the legal system, contributing to building and promoting national development in the new era — an era of strong, prosperous, civilised, and happy development of the Vietnamese nation.
The two appointees need to continue their efforts, unity, and high consensus with the leadership of the Supreme People's Court to focus on leading the judicial sector to do well in Party building work associated with sector building work, streamlining the organisational structure to ensure truly effective and efficient operation, in line with the three-level court model; strengthening discipline and order, building a strong, professional, and honest team of judges to serve as a solid foundation for improving the quality and effectiveness of judicial activities at all levels.
On behalf of the appointees, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Tien affirmed that this is a great honour, but also a great responsibility entrusted by the Party, the State, and the people; especially in the context of the judicial sector actively implementing the resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Party with very high requirements on building a socialist rule of law state of the people, by the people, and for the people; on reforming and perfecting the legal system; promoting judicial reform; building a professional, modern, equal, and honest judicial sector that serves the Fatherland and people.
Receiving the profound guidance of the State President, Comrade Le Tien pledged absolute loyalty and adherence to the leadership of the Party; continuously cultivating political qualities, revolutionary moralities, and improving his qualifications; always upholding the spirit of serving the Fatherland and the people; together with comrades in the Party Committee and leadership of the Supreme People's Court, to build a transparent and strong judicial system, successfully fulfilling assigned political tasks, contributing to successfully implementing the goals of national construction and development in the new era.
