State Vice President receives outstanding ethnic minority young people

The delegates, who represent over 3.6 million young people from 46 ethnic minority groups in Vietnam, are currently participating in a wide range of activities to mark the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural Day (April 19) and the Vietnam Year of Family 2013.

At the reception, Vice President Doan praised the delegates’ contributions to their communities and for joining hands to boost local socio-economic development and maintain social security and order.

The Vice President reaffirmed that the Party and State pay special attention to ethnic affairs and said she believes that the young delegates will continue upholding their sense of responsibility to become exemplary role models for others. She also asked them to encourage local people to abide by the Party’s guidelines and State policies and laws to strengthen solidarity and contribute more to local socio-economic development.

She urged the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee to continue supporting young ethnic minority people and and creating favourable conditions for them to study, start their careers, and develop their talents.
