Viet Nam has launched the Viet Nam Cultural Industry Development Association (VCIDA), a new body tasked with driving the country’s cultural industries into becoming a key economic sector in the digital era.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong presented a certificate of merit to Ly Xuong Can, Viet Nam’s Tourism Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (RoK), honouring his contributions to promoting tourism, cultural and economic exchanges between the two countries during 2017-2024.

The Viet Nam Cultural Industry Development Association (VCIDA) made its debut with the holding of its first congress for the 2025-2030 tenure on the afternoon of July 11.
