Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted a reception in Ha Noi on April 6 for UK Ambassador to Viet Nam Iain Frew, assuring the diplomat that Viet Nam attaches importance to the reinforcement of its ties with the UK.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Hoang Giang, who also serves as head of the ASEAN Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) delegation of Viet Nam, hosted a reception for British Ambassador Iain Frew in Ha Noi on March 24 to discuss the ASEAN – UK cooperation and Viet Nam – UK ties.
