Diversifying tourism products to enhance quality and depth of experience

In 2016, the project “Strategy for Developing Viet Nam’s Tourism Products to 2025, with a Vision to 2030” was approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. After nine years of implementation, Viet Nam’s tourism sector has achieved many positive results. However, to enhance competitiveness amid increasingly deep international integration, Vietnamese tourism needs to diversify products in parallel with improving quality and the depth of visitor experience.

Can Tho develops distinctive tourism products to attract visitors

Following its merger with Hau Giang and Soc Trang, Can Tho City has entered a new phase of development, enriched by a diverse ecosystem and unique cultural identity. To promote tourism, the city has proactively linked businesses, travel agencies, and tourist destinations to develop new and distinctive tourism products aimed at attracting more visitors.

Formerly known as Quang Binh, the province now named Quang Tri is not only famous as the “kingdom of caves” and a land of turquoise seas and white sand, but also home to numerous pristine and refreshingly cool streams, as well as magnificent waterfalls. These captivating destinations are attracting increasing numbers of visitors to Quang Binh this summer.

Lao Cai tourism promises to make breakthroughs

Lao Cai Province’s tourism industry grew impressively in the first six months of 2025, attracting more than 8.7 million visitors, reaching more than 22 trillion VND in revenue. From July 1, after the merger, new Lao Cai Province is expected to continue to become the tourism centre of the Northwest region, aiming to welcome 16.5 million visitors by 2030.
