The Vietnamese Veterans’ Club in Poland and the Embassy of Viet Nam in Poland convened a gathering to mark the 79th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947 – 2026).

On July 25, the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, in coordination with Military Hospital 7A, launched a programme to provide free medical check‑ups for people in former revolutionary base areas.

After more than half a century of waiting, 16 families of the martyrs of K20 hospital received the DNA testing results confirming the identities of the soldiers’ remains, amidst overwhelming emotion. This journey is the result of persistent efforts by numerous agencies, organisations, and individuals, including Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper.

On July 25, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan joined leaders of Ca Mau Province, to visit and present gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors in the locality ahead of the 78th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025).

A wide range of meaningful commemorative activities were held on July 24 to mark the 78th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025), embodying the Vietnamese moral tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source” and expressing deep gratitude for their sacrifices and contributions to the nation’s independence and freedom.
