Leaders pay tribute to national contributors ahead of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day

On July 25, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan joined leaders of Ca Mau Province, to visit and present gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors in the locality ahead of the 78th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947 – 2025).

The delegation saluted Heroic Vietnamese Mothers Ma Thi Kich and Le Thi Chi in Ly Van Lam Ward, wounded soldiers Hua Van Su, Huynh Van Trung, and Dang Minh Thoi in Tan Thanh Ward.

During the visits, Vice President Xuan emphasised that the Party, State, and people always remember the great contributions of national revolutionary contributors.

She called on younger generation to continue uphold the nation’s traditions and continue contributing to the national construction and defence.

While in Ca Mau, Vice President Xuan also laid flowers and offered incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site; the Temple of the 10 Heroic Martyrs of the Hon Khoai Uprising; and the Martyrs’ Cemetery of Ca Mau province.

That same day, National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh visited and presented gifts to the families of wounded soldiers Pham Van Luong (born 1948), Nguyen Van Hien (born 1963), and Pham Xuan Khu (born 1961) in Vu Thu Commune, Hung Yen Province.

The NA leader then paid his respect to President Ho Chi Minh at his temple in Tra Ly Ward, and offered incense at the Martyrs’ Temple in Tran Hung Dao Ward).

Also this morning, NA Vice Chair Tran Quang Phuong, saluted and delivered gifts to seven exemplary policy beneficiary families in the northern province of Dien Bien.

He extended his best wishes for the recipients, and expressed his profound gratitude for their contributions and service for the national revolutionary cause.

He hoped that the national contributors would continue to serve as a firm spiritual pillar for the younger generation, and contribute to the development of their homeland and country.

To mark the 78th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day, he distributed over 100 gift packages to wounded soldiers, families of fallen soldiers, and revolutionary contributors in Dien Bien province.
