This is the fourth time Vietnamese cuisine and specialties have been named in the Asian records, following 2012, 2013, and 2022.

The recognition not only honours the food culture and specialties of countries in the continent but also provides suggestions for international visitors to enjoy their trips to these countries.

The ten freshly-accredited records are in two categories of dishes and specialities.

The five dishes include the Sai Gon bread from Ho Chi Minh City, mussel rice from Thua Thien-Hue Province, Phan Thiet hotpot from Binh Thuan Province, grilled pork sausage from Khanh Hoa Province, and noodle with special broth from Soc Trang Province.

Meanwhile, the five specialities were green sticky rice from Vong Village in Hanoi, dried sweet potato in Quang Binh Province, sesame candy in Thua Thien Hue Province, Da Lat strawberries from Lam Dong Province, and cylindric glutinous rice cake from Tra Vinh Province.
