Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai made this statement during his working visit to Thanh Hoa province on July 17-18 to review the province’s socio-economic situation, the eigh-year implementation of the Nghi Son Economic Zone and some major projects’ status.
He asked the locality to ensure security and social safety and create favourable conditions for investment projects in order to maintain a healthy investment environment and make Thanh Hoa province an attractive destination to domestic and international investors.
Meeting with the province’s leaders, Deputy PM Hai valued the recent outcomes, particularly in attracting investment, and required the leaders to focus their leadership on recovering shortcomings to reach the 2013 set targets.
The Government official and his entourage visited the Nghi Son Oil Refinery Complex, Nghi Son Deep-Water Port and some industrial plants, as well as checked the construction work of the Nghi Son 1 Thermal Power Plant.
