Various book festivals celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day

A wide variety of reading events and book festivals, with many attractive activities for readers, will be held in Hanoi, to celebrate the 2023 Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, which falls on April 21.

The April Book Festival will take place at Vietnam Women’s Museum in Hanoi, from April 12-16. The event, which is held by Dinh Ti Books, in collaboration with Thai Ha Books, will provide many new book titles.

More than 10,000 book titles on different topics will be offered, with discounts of up to 40% and flash sales at golden hours.

In addition, many entertainment programmes and fun games for children will be held within the framework of the book festival, aiming to arouse children’s potential.

A workshop themed "Creating a moving world" will takeplace from 9 am to 11 am on April 15-16, featuring many activities stimulating the creativity of children.

Readers can also participate in the exciting quiz tests with many quizzes on various topics, such as science, animals, plants and the human body.

* Also on the occasion, a Summer Book Fair will be held by Nha Nam Company, from April 11-16, providing readers with many discounts and promotions for books.

The publishing house will also introduce a series of new books, as well as organise numerous other interesting activities.

The book festivals aim to promote the reading culture among the community, especially young generations.
