The event was co-organised by the Union of Vietnamese in France (UGVF), the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France, the Union of Vietnamese Youth in France (UJVF), the Canh Dieu Association, and Claudine School.
Addressing the event, UGVF President Vuong Huu Nhan and Tran Ngoc Thao Sophie, a member of the UGVF Executive Committee, expressed heartfelt thanks to the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France, participating associations, parents, and volunteers for their contributions to creating a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn celebration.
They noted that Mid-Autumn is a cherished tradition of the Vietnamese people. Even far from their homeland, Overseas Vietnamese can preserve this beautiful custom together and give children lasting memories of Viet Nam.
Dinh Ngoc Duc, Director of the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France, praised the efforts of UGVF and other associations in sustaining community cultural activities. He emphasised that Mid-Autumn is a special time for family reunions, sharing joy, and preserving traditional values.
He expressed hope that the centre would increasingly become an open, welcoming, and familiar space for Overseas Vietnamese — a place to meet, interact, and jointly promote Vietnamese culture not only in France but across Europe.
The event featured areas for folk games and traditional arts, food stalls offering Mid-Autumn treats and rustic Vietnamese dishes, and an artistic programme showcasing performances by children from the Overseas Vietnamese community.
