[Video] State Bank conducts 618 inspections, warns of risks of circumventing credit regulations

In its report on banking operations in the first seven months of the year and its management priorities for the remaining months of 2026, the State Bank of Viet Nam said there were signs of loopholes being exploited to circumvent regulations on share ownership limits and credit limits for a single customer and related parties.

According to the report, since the beginning of 2026, the State Bank of Viet Nam has conducted 618 inspections and issued inspection conclusions for 438 of them. The total value of economic violations uncovered through the inspections amounted to 562.468 trillion VND (21.49 billion USD).
